Michał Podlaski and Julia Jehle claimed victory at the 3RIDES Gran Fondo Südliche Weinstrasse.
The 37-year-old Pole Podlaski won on Saturday in perfect cycling conditions at the Südliche Weinstraße with a finishing time of 02:15:25, ahead of former Ötztaler winner Stefan Kirchmair (Austria, 02:15:31) and Dutchman Jurgen van Trijp (02:15:54).
In the women's competition, Julia Jehle crossed the finish line at the Deutsches Weintor in Schweigen-Rechtenbach as the winner after 02:23:08. Belgian Lieselitten van Nuffelen (02:23:58) and Freiburg's Cynthia Morguet (02:24:05) completed the podium.
The 3RIDES Gran Fondo Südliche Weinstrasse with start and finish in Schweigen-Rechtenbach was an official qualifier for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series Championship.
